It includes various psychiatric disorders, such as post-traumatic disorder (PTSD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and depression[1]. Depressive disorders are characterized by severe and persistent sadness, which interferes with normal function and frequently results in a lack of interest or pleasure in activities. Treatment options for these disorders generally include pharmacotherapy or psychotherapy. However, not all patients respond to these therapies; some may experience adverse effects. A therapy method known as neurofeedback, called EEG (electroencephalogram) biofeedback [2], gives clients instant feedback from a computer-based program that measures their brainwave activity.
