South Branch Drug Rehab Resources South Branch is an unincorporated community within Hillsborough Township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. It is situated on the South Branch Raritan River near its junction with the Raritan River. The South Branch Historic District is a historic district along River Road and Orchard Drive in the village. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 13, 1977, for its significance in architecture, politics/government, and religion. It includes 25 contributing buildings. The Operation Helping Hand (OHH) Initiative is a program where law enforcement plays an integral part in identifying individuals with substance use disorders and, together with community partners, serves as a point of entry into alcoholism treatment and drug addiction recovery support services. By conducting door-to-door outreach, Somerset County’s OHH’s goal during each encounter is to have law enforcement, accompanied by recovery support specialists, engage residents in need by providing on-the-spot referrals to treatment and other resources.   Somerset County offers Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment, and Recovery Support for residents struggling with alcoholism, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders.
