Madonna Land
Clinical Director, LPC-S, LCDC

MaDonna Land, LPC-S, LCDC is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sam Houston State University, a master’s degree in public administration from Texas Southern University, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Her style is open and interactive, with a strength-based, goal-oriented, solution-focused approach. MaDonna was enlisted in the United States Airforce and recognizes her service as a life changing experience that helped develop unique skills related to patience, organization, and efficiency in fast-paced multitasking environments as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic. 

Maranda Brewer
Primary Therapist, LCDC, LPC-Associate

Maranda Brewer, LCDC, LPC-Associate, serves as a Primary Therapist at We Level Up, where she provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care to individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Her clinical background spans outpatient, detox, and residential treatment settings, and she is experienced in supporting veterans, first responders, adolescents, and adults through recovery and complex trauma.

Maranda previously served as Clinical Manager for the Substance Use Disorder IOP at Matthew’s Hope Foundation, where she helped develop programming and integrate IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback into clinical services. Her broader clinical work includes therapeutic roles at Martin Counseling, Arrow Freedom Place, and Phoenix House Mental Health Community Residence, with a focus on resilience building, emotional regulation, and post-traumatic healing. Maranda is also the co-founder of Warrior’s Haven Recovery Residence, a sober living program developed to support veterans and first responders in early recovery.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Counseling – Chemical Dependency from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology – Clinical Counseling from Capella University.

Maranda is passionate about blending clinical training with authentic connection and lived recovery experience, believing that healing occurs when individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered.

Margaret Brown
Therapist, MBA, LCDC

Maggie Brown is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor at We Level Up – Houston, a leading substance use disorder treatment facility. She is a LCDC in TX with seven years of experience, Maggie specializes in inpatient residential treatment, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy.

In her role, Maggie oversees patient care with a holistic approach, considering cultural differences, environmental influences, economic challenges, emotional well-being, and physical health. At We Level Up – Houston, she is dedicated to not only treating substance use disorders and behavioral concerns but also equipping clients with effective coping strategies and valuable resources for lasting recovery.

Maggie earned her bachelor's in psychology from UHD, an MBA from LSUS. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, recovery activities, and her grandchildren.

Kathryn Bailey
Chemical Dependency Counselor, LCDC-I

Kathryn Bailey, LCDC-I, is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor–Intern with extensive experience in adolescent and residential addiction treatment. She has worked in nonprofit and residential settings since 2016, including leading recovery programs and managing crisis interventions in women’s residential treatment with a focus on personality, attachment, and substance use disorders. Her clinical approach integrates client-centered, attachment-based, and existential therapies, with a strong emphasis on helping individuals find meaning in suffering as part of the recovery process.

Candice Holloway
Therapist, MA, LPC, LCDC

Candice Holloway, MA, LPC, LCDC is a licensed mental health and chemical dependency professional with extensive experience providing and leading trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care for individuals with co-occurring disorders. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. Candice has served in multiple leadership roles, including Program Director and Director of Outpatient and Co-Occurring Psychiatric Services, where she supervised multidisciplinary teams, ensured regulatory compliance, and strengthened clinical operations. Known for her compassionate, client-focused approach and strong communication skills, Candice is committed to fostering personal growth, wellness, and sustainable recovery for both clients and clinical teams.

Sarah Palmer
Operations Manager

Sarah Palmer brings a strong background in operations, behavioral health, clinical support, and organizational leadership, with experience spanning residential treatment, community-based services, and multidisciplinary care teams.

In her role, Sarah oversees day-to-day facility operations with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and continuity of care. She works closely with clinical, medical, and administrative teams to support to optimize workflows, manage vendors and facility needs, and implement policies and procedures that promote safe, effective, and client-centered treatment environments.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and is passionate about creating well-structured, supportive environments that allow staff to perform at their best and patients to focus fully on recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Jax, and supporting organizations and initiatives that strengthen access to mental health and substance use treatment.
