The Wharton State Forest is the main attraction here. You can also rent kayaks and canoes to paddle the Wading, Mullica, and Oswego Rivers, explore the park on horseback, and cross-country ski the trail system in the winter.  If you’re in town on the third weekend of October, you must go to the Cranberry Festival, where cranberries and blueberries are fresh and aplenty. Otherwise, head to the Hot Diggidy Dog stands on Rt. 563 across from the firehouse for some real local flavor.
