Primary Therapist$1,000 Sign on bonus offered

We Level Up is a network of mental health, drug, and alcohol addiction treatment centers that provides caring treatment to those who are prepared to begin their recovery journey. Our commitment is unmatched and proven by offering a diverse set of clinical therapies combined with a professional, caring staff and diverse treatment options.

Summary: The Primary Therapist will be responsible for providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services to patients in an inpatient and outpatient facility setting. He or she will provide individual, family, and group therapy, collaborate with the clinical team to formulate proper documentation, and assist in coordinating discharge planning.

Primary Therapist Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or health-related field.
  • LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, RCSWI, RMHCI, or other mental health or substance abuse license or certification.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • EMR system experience – KIPU preferred

Primary Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessment on all admissions within the organization’s prescribed time. Biopsychosocial contains all the required elements.
  • Facilitate and conduct individual, group, and family therapy activities.
  • Assess discharge planning needs upon admission, throughout treatment, and during discharge planning process.
  • Document in the medical record any counseling, education, services, individual and group sessions, family interactions, assessments and reassessments, discharge planning, and any other intervention within the prescribed by the organization.
  • Complete ASAM assessment upon admission, change in level of care, and on discharge. Utilize ASAM assessment to determine appropriate placement.
  • Complete suicide risk assessment as needed utilizing evidence bases, standardized tools.
  • Complete client evaluations utilizing ASI, DSM-V or other diagnostic, standardized, evidence-based tools.
  • Develop initial and comprehensive treatment plan based on interdisciplinary assessments and other diagnostic findings.
  • Conduct interdisciplinary or other treatment team meetings on a regular basis to monitor client progress, achievement of treatment planning goals, treatment issues, discharge planning needs, and other issues.
  • Participate in crisis intervention actions as needed.
  • Support and help develop the patient/client treatment schedule. Monitor patient/client staff with assigned treatment schedule.
  • Prepare and document discharge summary.
  • Assist in patients/clients in considering and/or accessing programs such as Family Medical Leave, disability, and other services that may support community reintegration, discharge planning, and return to work.
  • Other duties as required to address operational needs.

Admissions Call Center Rep

Company Overview

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years in of experience as a call center representative, admissions coordinator, Utilization Review generalist, or other related services in a substance abuse, detox, behavioral health care, or other related setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collects sufficient information from patient/client and/or family as authorized by the patient to ensure accurate and comprehensive information is obtained.
  • Obtains and clarifies availability of benefits.
  • Ensures all communications are documented thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
  • Coordinates all aspects of the admission process as needed to ensure a smooth and safe transition of the client/patient into our facility and programs.
  • Communicates information and issues relevant to the patients’ care, treatment, or services with all interdisciplinary team members.
  • Is knowledgeable and understands criteria for all levels of care.
  • Stays informed on trends and issues affecting the industry.

Responsible for demonstrating competence is at least one or more of the following:

  • Establish rapport, systematically gather data, determine the readiness of the individual for treatment and change, and apply accepted criteria for diagnosis of substance use disorders
  • Screen for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdrawal symptoms
  • Screen for co-occurring mental health issues
  • Able to support the organization’s efforts to comply with National Patient Safety Goals related to:
    • Prevention of infection
    • Suicide risk assessment
    • Patient identification
    • Medication reconciliation
  • All other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists both the nursing and operations departments by addressing and responding to client concerns, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with intake and discharge processes according to company policies and procedures, reporting all client observations to the nursing staff, escalating critical items directly to the Executive Director.

Requirements:

  • Professional license or certification relevant to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a substance abuse center, psychiatric facility or other health care related and/or recovery setting.
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Friendly and professional manner.
  • Multi-tasking skills.
  • Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills.
  • Understands legal implications of patient care.
  • CPR Certification Required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for continuous and ongoing monitoring of all clients’ whereabouts. Perform scheduled rounds based upon medical orders. Standard monitoring is done on a 15- or 30-minute basis for the entire length of treatment.
  • Manage standards of practice and care for nursing and medical providers within the facility according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording findings. Observes and reports client’s behaviors to supervisor, nursing, and/or clinical team. All observations of behaviors should be outlined in the shift report.
  • Report any unusual, bizarre, or suspicious behavior immediately to nursing, clinical team, and facility leadership.
  • Document course of action by completing forms, reports, logs, and records instructed by the Director of Nursing.
  • Assist in the collection of clients’ medication copays and ensure medications are delivered in prescribed timeframe.
  • Process and complete all lab blood draw requisitions and ensure clients’ labs are conducted in prescribed time frame.
  • Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures outlined in nursing departmental training and company standard operating procedures.
  • Protect the organization’s value by keeping patient information confidential.
  • Complete intake procedures in KIPU according to policy and procedure with clients present. Log all financial and personal items into KIPU system. The client is to be involved in the intake procedure and informed of all content of intake forms and policies prior to signature. MHT obtains client signatures at time of Intake and answers any questions from the client.
  • Support and assist nursing staff as needed and directed by supervisor and Director of Nursing.
  • De-escalate clients as needed. Maintain communication with all medical, clinical, and operations departments. Understands de-escalation procedures and techniques addressed in required departmental training, CPI, and Bayside.
  • Redirect inappropriate and/or unacceptable behavior according to company policy and facility rules outlined in the client welcome booklet, employee handbook, departmental training, and applicable federal and state law.
  • Assist clinical team with Against Medical Advice (AMA) blocking.
  • Assist medical with getting patients for medication passes, doctors’ appointments, and assessments.
  • Maintains appropriate boundaries when participating in client activities. Does not smoke with clients. Does not make personal phone calls in the presence of clients.
  • Understands and supports emergency procedures. Guides patients to the facility designated safe place as needed and deemed appropriate by the company Emergency Management Plan.
  • Responsible for moving clients to new rooms and assisting housekeeping in flipping beds. Assist housekeeping in turning over rooms at discharge.
  • Maintaining communication with housekeeping to ensure discharged patient rooms are prepped, cleaned, and disinfected.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Physical Setting:

  • Inpatient

Work Location: On-site – Spokane Valley, WA
